You can access the calendar by clicking on the Connect icon in the sidebar to the left of your screen, and then clicking on Calendar in the window that opens.
Creating an event
- In Calendar, click the New event button. The Event page will open to the right of your screen. The Info tab will be open.
- In the Info tab, click Browse your computer to select an image file from your computer’s file directory, if you want to add an image.
- Type the title of the event into the Title
- Set the Start date and End date of the event.
- You can also select a Start time and an End Time, or click on the All day checkbox if the event does not have a start and end time.
- Once you finish click the Save button and choose your audience.
Adding an audience to an event
With bugle you can choose who will be invited to attend certain events, thereby creating a more tailored learning experience for the learners. You can add whole groups or individual learners to your event calendar.
Adding groups
- On the Events page, click on the Audience In the groups list, click Add groups. The Add groups window will open.
- Find the groups you want to add to the event in the groups list, and click the Add button next to each group you want to allocate to the event. Once you have added all the groups click the Add groups button.
- If you want to add every group in the list to the event, click on Add all button to the right of the search bar.
- A banner will appear, confirming that the group(s) has been allocated to the event.
- The Cancel button will close the window, and the group(s) will not be allocated to the event.
- Once you finish click the Save button
Adding learners
- On the Events page, click on the Audience tab.
- Scroll down to the learner’s section of the page and click the Add learners The Add learners window will open.
- Find the learners you want to add to the event in the learners list, and click the Add button next to each learner you want to allocate to the post. Once you have added all the learners click the Add learners button.
- If you want to allocate all learners in the list to the event, click on Add all button to the right of the search bar.
- A banner will appear, confirming that the learner(s) has been allocated to the event.
- Once you finish click the Save button
